  In our climate, Society Garlic may grow well with 3 to 6 hours of sunlight per day, primarily morning sun.
• While Society Garlic can tolerate some shade, full sun will promote the best flowering and overall growth.

Soil:

• Ensure the soil is well-draining.
• Society Garlic prefers sandy or loamy soils that prevent water from accumulating around the roots, which can cause rot.
• The plant has been reported to grow from sea-level up to 1,220 metres along forest margins and stream banks.
